CHEMSKILLSET

This skill set covers both AHCCHM307 Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases and AHCCHM304 Transport and Store Chemicals.     
The course describes the skills and knowledge required to safely prepare and apply chemicals for the control of pests, weeds and diseases, using general application equipment and the skills and knowledge required to safely handle, transport and store chemicals.
This applies to individuals who work under broad direction and take responsibility for their own work. They use discretion and judgement in the selection, allocation and use of available resources and for problem solving.
The course is delivered over two (2) days consisting of practical and theory components. 
Students are required to complete pre-course study prior to commencing face to face sessions.

This unit provides students with the knowledge and skills to perform a safe rescue of casualties who have received an electric shock or other injury while working on low voltage equipment. 
The course includes blended learning involving online and face to face sessions and theory and practical components and is delivered over one (1) day.
Pre-course study is required to be completed prior to attending face to face sessions.
Students are required to be physically fit and able to complete the practical components.
Students receive a statement of attainment upon successful completion.
